PRIVACY

What the Hive collects, what it doesn't, and how to reach us. Plain language, no dark patterns.

The Short Version

This is a band website. We don't run advertising, we don't sell data, and we don't set our own tracking cookies. The only information you actively give us is your email address, and only if you choose to join the mailing list.

What We Collect

  • Mailing list. If you subscribe, our email provider MailerLite stores the email address (and name, if given) you submit. Sign-up is double opt-in, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
  • Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security, abuse prevention, and delivery. We don't build profiles from these.
  • Email you send us. If you contact exuvialband@gmail.com, we keep that correspondence to reply to you.

Cookies & Embeds

We set no first-party cookies and run no analytics of our own. Some pages do embed third-party players and forms that can set their own cookies. The Spotify, Bandcamp, and MailerLite embeds load automatically when you open a page that contains them and may set cookies at that point; YouTube videos are click-to-load. They use privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie mode and fetch nothing until you press play. Their privacy policies govern any data they collect:

Your Choices

  • Unsubscribe from any email using the link at its foot.
  • Ask us to see or delete the data we hold on you (realistically: your mailing-list entry) by emailing exuvialband@gmail.com.
  • Block third-party cookies in your browser; the site still works.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes & Contact

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Questions about privacy go to exuvialband@gmail.com. EXUVIAL is based in Denver, Colorado, USA; this policy is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
